Voice Disorders

Voice is the sound produced by vibration of the vocal cords. Voice disorders are the conditions that affect pitch, loudness & quality of the voice produced by the vocal cords.

A voice disorder occurs when the vocal cords do not vibrate well. Thus, Voice Therapy needed or indicated.

Voice Therapy includes exercises, techniques and activities to correct affected voice.

Voice Therapy can be given across the lifespan from children to older adults.

Voice Therapist are RCI registered Speech Language Pathologist who provide effective treatment for disordered voice.

Voice Therapy also used for prevention of voice disorder.
