Types of Tinnitus
Although Tinnitus is a very common condition, each and every individual may feel it differently.
Objective Tinnitus
This is rare type of Tinnitus, which can be heard even by person standing beside person having Tinnitus. It can be caused by blood vessel problems or problems with middle ear bone or middle ear muscle contractions.
Subjective Tinnitus
This is most common type, usually heard only by the person having Tinnitus. It can be caused by problem in outer, middle or inner ear. Problem at the level of auditory nerve or auditory pathway can also lead to subjective Tinnitus.
